Terms of service

By booking and attending a Mindflow Therapy session, either in person or online, all clients are acknowledging and agreeing to the following Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:

That clients are aware of the types of therapy they will be receiving, including their purpose, methods and possible effects and that they understand and consent in full to this. That they understand that the treatment may be brought to an end at any time and that success of the treatment depends on the client’s ability to relax and desire to create change in themselves. Clients also understand that as part of the treatment we may be accessing painful memories and emotions with the intention of re-processing these, so some short term discomfort may be possible.

For therapy to work it requires commitment and motivation on the side of the client hence we cannot guarantee results. People react differently to hypnosis and other therapeutic treatments so results may vary from person to person.

Hypnotherapy is not suitable for clients suffering from psychosis, dissociative disorders, epilepsy, personality disorders, or schizophrenia, as it is a contraindication and may exacerbate these conditions.

You accept that treatment is offered on the basis of the information you supply, which you represent and warrant to be complete and truthful.

If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible.  We will do our best to make a full session available, but this often depends on appointments subsequent to your booking and so cannot be guaranteed. If your session needs to be curtailed due to your late arrival then the session fee remains payable in full.

Your session will take place either in-person in our office or via zoom. Home visits are also available in some circumstances and will require additional fees to cover transportation costs. Please inquire for more details, if needed.

It is required that clients:

•attend sessions and arrive on time.

• will take part in all sessions free from the influence of either alcohol or drugs and will provide a list of any prescription medicines they are currently taking.

• will ensure that the environment in which virtual sessions are undertaken shall be safe and free from distractions and will inform the therapist if there is anyone else present or monitoring the session.

• will not record the session (either by sound or visual means) without prior permission from the therapist.

• understand and accept that the therapist may terminate the session without warning if the therapist should determine that the session has been booked for some purpose other than to receive therapy, and that should this occur, the client will remain liable for any session fee that may have been paid in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We appreciate at least 48-hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so that we may offer it to someone else. The charge for sessions cancelled with less than 48-hours notice will be up to 50% of the full session fee.

The Company reserves the right to cancel an appointment at their sole discretion, this will only be in exceptional circumstances and as much notice as is possible will be given.  The Company shall not be liable for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.

A “no show” will also attract a charge of 100% the arranged fee.

REFUND POLICY

Therapy services are not eligible for refunds after a session has been conducted. However, we may offer a make up session if there was an issue or concern with the session.

The therapist cannot control or force the client to change or do anything they do not want to do. If the therapist has any concerns throughout the client session, the concerns will be discussed with the client to determine the recommended course of treatment. The client has the option to take the recommendation or to not go ahead with future sessions. If the client has paid in advance for the sessions, the client has the option to not go ahead and the client will be refunded the amount that was paid in advance.

DISCLAIMER

We will always do our best to help you achieve a successful outcome to your therapy. However, you accept that an agreement to work on an issue does not mean that a particular outcome to therapy can be guaranteed and may vary based on the mindset of the client, the desire to change and the commitment to follow guidance during and after the session. Fees are payable for your sessions and the time and expertise of the therapist, regardless of the outcome. Results may differ from person to person.

With pain management sessions, if you wish to reduce or stop any medication then medical support must be obtained. This appointment does not replace medical advice and assistance. You will be accepting full responsibility for turning the pain off, and advised to take note of any new pain, if it arises, and seek medical attention.

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR

We will use best practice at all times and adhere to the standards of conduct as stated by governing bodies.

In return by attending your session you agree to the following standards of behavior:
